Description redware; brown lead glaze with silver metallic sheen on the exterior and interior; dark brown (manganese) specks mixed into the glaze; rounded sides; heavy body; plain rim; used to make sponge cake; "DA501" is written on the bottom in white; bottom is worn from use with scorch bubbles
