Description A handspun towel comprised of bleached plain weave linen. At each of the top corners there is a 3.00" long white cotton twill tape. At the bottom there is an attached bleached linen drawn work panel with darning stitched motifs in bleached white cotton. The design is a mirrored layout of a large potted flower, flanked by four potted flowers motifs, two floral motifs and a star centered above. Attached to the panel is a 1.00" wide bleached linen net fringe with 2.00" long knotted self-fringe. Both the right and left edges have a 5/8" wide foldover hem while the top edge has been left unfinished.
Condition Notes The structure of the towel is healthy but there are some browns stains throughout. Some of the fringe is also missing.
