Description A child's duster style jacket made out of a natural plain weave glazed linen. The jacket has no collar and buttons down the front center with four large shell buttons. The sleeves are three-quarter length and set into the arm syce. The sleeves are voluminous with a wide cuff. At the back there is a self-fabric belt attached with two decorative buttons. The jacket is machine constructed with hand finishing details.
Provenance Worn by Amandus S. Kriebel (1878-1930), as a young child. He was the son of Charles S. (1850-1907) and Lydia R. (Seibert) Kriebel (1856-1929), of Montgomery County. As an adult, he would go on to marry Mary C. (Beidler) Kriebel (1875-1940).
