Description |
A man's handstitched shirt comprised of handspun bleached plain weave linen. There is an attached bleached plain weave cotton collar band at the neck. The shirt has a four button placket with cartridge pleating at the bottom. There are two self-fabric attached panels at the shoulder and gussets at each under arm. The sleeves are set into the arm syce and gussets with additional cartridge pleating at the shoulder attachment. The sleeves are voluminous but banded at the wrist with a wide cuff and button closure and cartridge pleating at the attachment. The shirt is long and formless with a slit at either side hem, extending down to the unfinished hem. |
