A ladies handstitched apron made out of handspun blue and bleached white woven check linen. There are short self-fabric ties at the back waist. At the hem there is decorative white cotton herringbone stitching. 38 inch waist band and 34 inch from top of waist to hem and 22 inch at gathered waist band edge |

Apron, work type, blue and white checked linen, made from two pieces of small check dark indigo blue and bleached white homespun. The waist is gathered and there is a 1 1/4" wide waistband that extends about 6" on both sides from the apron skirt. The apron is handsewn with 3 ply cotton thread. A six -inch extension was added at the bottom with a flat fell seam and remnants of a decorative herringbone stitch on either side in darning cotton with 1/4" stitches. 48 epi 45 ppi. 4 blue/4 white. |
