Description |
This is a hand carved wooden scoop. The size of the scoop is large. It dwarfs the handle in comparison. The deepest part of the scoop is in the back near the base. The handle is flat on the top and rounded on the bottom. The handle rises from the scoop's base in a kind of arch and at the end there is a hook like addition into the handle presumably to hang up the spoon. Circa 19th century. |
