Description |
A ladies two piece suit comprised of dusty rose wool twill. Both pieces are machine constructed with hand finishing details. a) The jacket has a folded down lapel with a high waist button closure with two self covered buttons. The lapel and the front opening are trimmed with a matching pink silk cord application. At the waist there are two side pockets extending over the back side, and also trimmed with the silk cording. Located just above there pockets are two sets of two covered buttons attached to the side seams. There is one angled slit pocket on the wearer's left chest. At the back there is a cut out flap with two decorative buttons and silk cord application. The hem of the jacket is also trimmed with the silk cord. The jacket is lined in cream silk. b) The matching skirt has a centered panel with features the same silk cord application and four covered buttons at the hem. There is a side pocket on the proper right side and is lined in the cream glazed cotton. The waistband is lined in cream glazed cotton and there a hook and eye closure and the back waist. The hem is trimmed with magenta silk twill tape. |
