Description |
Chinese doll (minister). Doll's eyes and mouth are drawn on. Nose and ears are sewn on fabric. The doll wears a black head piece crimped at the top, with an orange, blue flower with yellow fringe. It has two green purple and black ribbons coming off the back right at the head piece with glass beads sewn on. There is a pin holding an attached string on the back of the head. The doll wears a purple, black and red vest with cloth knitted buttons. It has a purple long undershirt lined in a white and red floral pattern design with a red shirt beneath that. He is holding a small book which is bound with thread and contains black chinese letters. The pants are blue with black bottoms, a pin holds the left pant leg to the leg. The shoe is purple with black and blue fabric designs and a light blue pom pom of string. The bottom is white fabric. The left foot has a tack in it. |
