Description |
Lone Star Quilt comprised of a large pieced star made of multicolored cotton diamond patches. Each diamond patch is of either a printed cotton or plain cotton in one of the various hues of red, blue, green or yellow. The star has been applied to a ground of white cotton with black floral print cotton. There is an 3/8" wide applied binding made of a red geometric printed cotton. The entire ground has diamond cross-hatching and has been handstitched with white thread and a SPI of 6-9. On the left side in red silk cross-stitch are the initials "J.D.J." The back is comprised of a cream cotton with a red floral fan print. |
