Description |
Lone Star Quilt comprised of a large appliqued star made of multicolored pieced cotton diamond-shaped patches. Each diamond patch is cut from either a printed cotton or plain cotton in one of the various hues of red, blue, green or yellow. The star has been applied to a ground of white and black windowpane checked cotton. There is a 1/8" wide applied binding made of a red printed cotton but switches to a red and white striped cotton near one corner. The entire quilt has been handstitched with white thread and a SPI of 6-9. The back is comprised of plain white cotton with cross-hatching. |
