Description |
Perkiomen Valley quilt comprised of a 10 x 10 block formation of split nine patch pieced blocks. Each block averages 7.50" x 7.50" and is made of nine individual squares averaging 2.50" x 2.50" of various plain and printed cottons.The arrangement of colors and prints which creates the alternating light and dark design that characterizes the Perkiomen Valley design. There is a 3/8" wide applied binding of the same fabric as the back. The entire quilt has been handstitched with white thread and has an SPI of 7. The back is comprised of a light brown furnishing cotton with a pink rose and green leaf print. |
